Review of Wolfenstein: The New Order – a compelling experience.
I recently purchased Watch Dogs along with a season pass, hoping for another sandbox experience similar to Fallout series. Disappointed when it didn’t meet expectations, I removed it right away. Feeling let down, I avoided all the buzz. Wolfenstein has reignited my optimism about gaming’s future, especially since it was a strong title. My last memorable game was Fallout New Vegas, but the most compelling story I’ve had recently is probably Bioshock Infinite.
It’s especially appealing when you buy it for £17 during the Steam Summer sale. I spent around £54 on Watch Dogs, which felt like a huge waste of money, but this game is worth £100—definitely worth it. I had a great time playing, the cutscenes were engaging, and I really enjoyed the ending and the credits, which wrapped up the story nicely.
I didn’t like being around watch dogs. I switched to a bike, hit a car, and took out the game.
It's definitely a superior experience compared to Bioshock Infinite. The narrative is more engaging, the characters are more relatable, and many players enjoy the intense encounters with antagonists like Death Head. The gameplay mechanics, especially the gunplay, stand out positively over Infinite’s weaker execution. Overall, it delivers a polished experience without cutting corners, with solid graphics, effective lighting, and impressive models despite some texture issues.
It improves and the final stage truly wraps everything up. This game has always impressed me with how intense repeated attacks feel—far beyond anything before. I’m drawn to Deaths Head because I want more than just one kill; I’m eager to push through the challenges. While revenge might feel satisfying at first, it only leads to an endless cycle of desire.
