I've recently reinstalled Ryzen Master after using it before. Before the latest install, I had my CPU intentionally underclocked in the BIOS to 3.75Ghz @1.1VCC (ROG Strix B550A). HWinfo indicated power usage around 70W during full load. Initially, Ryzen Master showed lower figures than HWinfo, likely because it only monitored actual cores rather than all rails. I've attempted further underclocking to reduce power consumption during long intensive tasks, but once I adjusted settings in Ryzen Master (fastest two cores at 3.6Ghz, others at 2.6Ghz, VCC 1.05V), HWinfo spiked to nearly 100W! Ryzen Master also reported power draw far exceeding my earlier measurements at higher configurations. Anyone have suggestions? I'm looking for a way to enable an Eco-Mode, but all manual tweaks seem to waste energy. P.S. Avoid manual settings—consider using PBO and gradually lowering PPT and clocks. Consider checking power usage directly at the outlet, rather than depending on software that may provide inaccurate data.
Well first I don't have anything I could use to measure, and for now I'm trying to reduce CPU consumption alone without GPU and other things. Anyways, do you know why Ryzen Master exceeds TDC as soon as I apply ANY clock speeds, even if they're lower than base?
I won't accept those figures without question, particularly when they don't match reality. That's why I recommend checking measurements against the wall. Likely there are budget-friendly ways to gauge wall power use, which could also work for other devices. It seems you're focused on saving energy.

Great effort in cutting down your electricity costs. I built my PC considering energy use, though I didn’t go into overclocking or adjusting voltage.
The power usage will depend on the CPU's requirements plus the AC to DC conversion in the power source, efficiency losses from conversion and heat, plus heat escaping through the motherboard. Ryzen Master will just record the CPU's wattage independently.
I'm not suggesting depend solely on software reports, but Ryzen Master is probably the most precise tool you'll get for a Ryzen chip. HWinfo64 comes next, and honestly, let's stop talking about hardware monitors altogether. You need to be confident—use a good quality multimeter (like Fluke) and begin testing the motherboard and power cables. Understanding your process is essential. PPT represents overall CPU power consumption, calculated from core power plus SoC power. Adding PPT to a lower value restricts the CPU's wattage usage. This also affects the PBO algorithm and frequency boost settings.
