Review Changes and Save Data
Hey everyone, it seems Windows has stopped recognizing my external hard drive as a file history device. I'm confused about why. Do you have any suggestions on how to get it working again? I've missed out on backups for a few months now and it's making me worried. Thanks, John
However, this won't protect your Windows files or program files; it will only safeguard your documents. A script might be an option. Alternatively, you could use a cloning tool to copy your hard drive as it is, though I'd consult another person as I haven't done this before.
On my personal machine, installing required files demanded admin rights, while system files required elevated access.
