The choice isn’t available, but I’ll take them to the store tomorrow. I usually chose the safe unplug USB option and never lost them. They’ve been stored in a drawer inside a plastic bag with other USBs for about three years. I also have another USB from the same brand, but my PC won’t open it. I believe these are just faulty USBs. Thanks for your assistance!

It seems your USB might be damaged, possibly due to moisture in your bag. You should consider taking it to a store for repair. For the driver update, look up the instructions specific to your operating system version (Windows 7/8 or macOS) as they can vary. Good luck with recovering the photos! PS: Feel free to join the Linus community to ask questions or learn more about computers.

Hi, I visited the store just a minute ago and they told me they couldn't help. I also had another USB drive (same brand, Qmotion) that I couldn't read. They're trying to see if they can recover any data from it. I noticed a nearby data recovery center that claims to fix issues in 7-10 days for free. I'll send them an email and check if they can assist. Would you like me to keep you updated?

Received the additional USB last night, but they didn’t address the issue (they probably gave their best effort). Fortunate it was free. Still have to send the other firm an email.
