Do you possess any alternative systems? If so, please verify the GPU. If the green screen persists, I would suggest initiating an RMA.

Attempt to remove the outdated driver, then reinstall it. If the issues persist, consider swapping out the atikmpag.sys or atikmdag.sys file by following the instructions provided below.

Certainly, attempt using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to perform a thorough removal and then reboot in safe mode. After that, install the most recent Adrenaline drivers and keep us updated. If the issue persists, unfortunately, it may indicate that the graphics card is faulty or incompatible with the motherboard or similar components.

I appreciate the replies everyone. I noticed an earlier DDU version in my downloads, so I'll presume my younger sibling attempted to reinstall the drivers. I'll take a crack at it myself and see the outcome; if that fails, I'll consider swapping out atikmpag.sys.

Yes let's hope this is just the driver and OS issue and not a physical problem

I'm still experiencing the issue, unfortunately. Initially, the system would crash to a black screen, lingering for a while with the mouse appearing and disappearing, then it would restart. After that, I encountered the message "Application has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware," which I resolved using this link: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...cc...b1dab4cc78. Now, it's reverting to a green screen shortly after launching AC Odyssey.

Here are the steps I took to uninstall the driver:
I downloaded DDU and Adrenaline. I restarted into safe mode with networking, opened DDU without altering any settings, selected "GPU," then clicked on "clean and restart." After rebooting, I opened Adrenaline and allowed it to install the AMD Radeon Software (this is when the black screen occurs during gameplay). I updated the Radeon Software to the latest version (that's when the "Application has been blocked" message and the green screen appeared during gameplay).

Currently, I'm trying to replace atikmpag.sys using the DriverEasy application, which indicates I have several outdated drivers that I plan to update manually first: AMD GPIO Controller (two instances), AMD PCI (two instances), AMD PSP 3.0 Device, Realtek High Definition Audio, Intel® I211 Gigabit Network Connection.

***It seems DriverEasy might include bloatware, so I performed a manual update and a Windows update. Regarding the file replacement, it was amdkmdag.sys for me, but I couldn't locate it in my system32/drivers folder, although I found it in my AMD folder. I'm also considering updating the BIOS via: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/ROG-ST..._Download/. I think I've updated my chipset using their utility.

I just tested it, and sadly, I'm still encountering a green screen issue. I switched from version 20.7.2 to 20.5.1. Checking my download history, I noticed a file from 19.12.3 as well, so I suspect my younger brother experimented with various driver versions.

What if we exchange the display port? Change the cable? And which power supply unit?
