Resolution clarified: Frame Rate Discrepancies Resolved
I experience a stable frame rate of approximately 70-80 frames per second with a particular game (like PUBG) when VSync is disabled. However, activating VSync frequently results in fluctuating performance between 50 and 60 fps. It seems illogical that I wouldn't be able to maintain a consistent 60 fps given my system’s capabilities. There must be an underlying factor I’m unaware of or overlooking; this situation is quite perplexing. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
I'm uncertain about the root of this, but it appears to be connected to several titles. I suggest experimenting with Adaptive Sync and/or triple buffering.
UPDATE: The issue might stem from inadequate development optimization, particularly concerning PUBG, which is often problematic in this regard. See this forum discussion for potential solutions: (
