Hi, I've been experiencing stutters during games and when watching videos for about three days now. The issue started after I made no changes to my setup. My PC has been running for around two and a half years. It was recently found that the problem might be related to the graphics card or system settings. I shut down the computer once yesterday, restarted it, and everything worked fine. Today, nothing seems to help—I drop to 5-10 frames per second every time it happens.

CPU is an Intel i-7 13700 2.1GHZ with a cooler that doesn’t recognize Corsair liquid cooling.
Motherboard is B760M Aorus Elite AX.
Memory includes ADATA XPG Hunter 16GB x2 at 5200 MHZ.
Storage options are a WD_Black SN770 NVMe 1TB drive and another WD_Black SN770 NVMe 2TB drive.
GPU is NVIDIA Geforce 4070.
Power supply is CoolerMaster G800 Gold 800W.
Chassis is AX81 Elite.
Operating system is Windows 11.
Monitor is MSI 271QRX QD-OLED.
PSU details are unclear; I don’t have the make or model, and I’m unsure how to check the BIOS version or confirm the BIOS version.

CPU Cooler: Unknown Corsair liquid cooling model can’t be identified
You may upload a picture of the cooler, ideally from a platform like Imgur.
I don’t have the PSU’s make or model, nor do I know how to retrieve it.
Take off the side panels of your case and check the labeled sides of the PSU. Based on what you shared, it appears to be the Cooler Master G800 Gold Entry Level 80 Plus Gold ATX Power Supply Unit.
This unit offers reliable power for entry-level users and system builders. The quiet 120mm fan, 80 PLUS Gold rating, and a 5-year warranty ensure dependable performance. It’s an ideal choice for standard office setups and gaming needs.

Tier-B(minus)...
I’m unsure how to verify the BIOS version.
You can install CPU-Z and look under the mainboard tab for the BIOS version.
What’s your PSU’s age?
Attempt using DDU in Safe Mode, disable all GPU drivers (Intel, AMD, Nvidia), then restart and manually install the newest GPU driver from Nvidia’s support site via an elevated command—Right click the installer > Run as Administrator.
