I sent the card away. Just before returning it, I couldn't start Windows with the card installed. While waiting, I used a GTX 970 without any drivers and it functioned properly. The new card still occasionally stutters. From previous issues, I saw videos in Firefox would lag even when not playing, and my mouse would stutter while browsing. It seems the drivers for AMD are likely the problem. I've only experienced one Adrenaline crash with this card so far.

My 2cents, even if the thread is old. Comparing my brother's RX 6900XT to my 5700 since early 2020: Never rely on optional AMD drivers. Stick to suggested only drivers. Still, don't be fooled—even with officially stable ones, you might face some issues here and there. The main problems will disappear by using only reliable drivers.
