Hi, I received an old MSI Z270 gaming PC from a friend. It's been sitting unused for a while, the CPU debug LED is active and there appears to be no connection to the processor. It feels as cold as when it was installed, even after some time has passed. I can't start a boot or view the screen (which makes sense given the CPU...). I found three bent pins when I got it, and I've tried straightening them. After careful work, none of the pins show any issues. Still, I can't boot and the debug light remains on. I only manage to boot with essential components, but nothing else works. Since it's an older model, returning the manufacturer's warranty isn't an option. It's not a big deal for me to fix it, but I enjoy the challenge. That's why I'm reaching out here, hoping someone can assist with possible solutions!
Used MSI Z270 gaming pro I5-7500 atm just testing with 8GB DDR4 RAM. Removed all other parts until I figured out the CPU issue.
CMOS reset was also attempted along with removing the battery for a few minutes. Included a GTX 1070 to complete the installation. Current configuration details: MSI Z270 Gaming Pro I5-7500 2x8GB DDR4 2666 MHz GTX 1070 Founders Edition Corsair CX750M

Did you set up your own CPU and power supply, or did your friend provide them?
