I realized it was UE5 without searching... It seems partly due to user behavior, people keep purchasing these titles. For instance, MH Wilds works decently, though it isn't flawless—frame generation is often required for most cards. There are only a few stutters, which I attribute to direct disc handling. Overall, it runs significantly better than expected and offers solid gameplay. Still, it stands out as an outlier. It's not UE5; it's RE Capcom's proprietary engine. While it shares many features with UE5, it generally performs more smoothly and encounters fewer problems. I’ve stopped buying games from Unreal Engine after feeling the frustration, especially since I’ve been evaluating multicore support for years. Just discontinue those purchases, or else they won’t improve. >.< Note: I just played MH for about two hours and didn’t notice any stutters—except when using the tent, but hunts ran smoothly at 70-90fps. I suspect the issue might be related to direct storage handling. Monster Hunter World was much smoother, especially in the field, because it always loaded the entire level into VRAM and maps weren’t small at all. You’d need around 6GB minimum, but it could go up to 24GB. Lol
Absolutely, this situation combines the issues from both UE5 and the Creation Engine, creating a frustrating experience. Many players seem to overlook it, or even ignore it entirely. It's clear these are problems tied to the engines themselves, which should affect everyone if they're properly addressed.
Some individuals might overlook it, focusing instead on playing "The Game." I've also witnessed similar experiences long ago... That well-known Amiga demo featuring a pharaoh certainly seemed impressive, though it had some stutters. My friend would easily glance away whenever it occurred! I'm just thinking about PC gamers...
