Microsoft indicated that improvements for Win32 games are limited. The priority shifted toward enhancing UWP applications to deliver significant performance upgrades. UWP involves more layers between the software and hardware compared to Win32. Although no game currently combines both platforms, it seems reasonable to expect a move toward aligning their performance levels. Microsoft confirmed they will keep developing Game Mode beyond the Creator Update, aiming to boost performance for both Win32 and UWP versions.
I haven't seen much change until now, I wasn't expecting it. Check out the @GoodBytes comment to avoid repeating myself. You'll find more details in the MS blog post here: https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperie...PsooRr8.97
I won't attempt it once more. If that much didn't make a difference, then any further action wouldn't help either. When the services consume excessive computer resources and impact app performance, they're likely faulty.
I might attempt it once more by turning off certain cores, though the only noticeable change would be the lower FPS. Still, if the services function correctly and the app isn’t overloading them simultaneously, the performance effect should remain small at most.
