I have a built-in PC inside a ~2006 Mac Pro enclosure (think cheese grater) and the airflow is poor with just two intakes and one exhaust. My CPU is working fine at 12600K, but my GPU is getting very hot—averaging around 75°C and reaching nearly 90°C near the junction when playing games like Fortnite or CS2, or running benchmark tests. I’m using a two-fan setup. If I lower the fans too much, it overheats and hits temps above 100°C, but adjusting the fan curve too aggressively makes it sound like a PS4 and an airplane take off at once. I’ve already capped power usage at 180W and slightly reduced voltage. I haven’t tried overclocking yet. Any advice would be really helpful!

Try reducing the temperature setting slightly while keeping the fan speed as it is, without boosting airflow into the case.

Your fan speed isn't too low, right?

The fans seem able to manage the temperature, but because of the current settings they’re causing the machine to overheat. When the fans are adjusted properly, the temperatures should stay within safe limits.

Current fan curve not checked yet; I’ll review replies tomorrow. Sleeping early because I’m tired.

Space is limited, so expanding isn't possible—my limit is three for this modified build.

Capture an image of your setup without the side panel. The main solution is to enhance the air circulation in some way. Understanding this is simpler when we can clearly see what you're dealing with.
