Recommendations require improvement
I plan to move from version 10 to 11 using Windows 10 (current). This is due to Microsoft stopping support, security updates, and other services for version 10.
It seems you're feeling a bit frustrated. Windows 11 hasn't quite met expectations, while Windows 10 still offers some benefits!
I have around 11 things I like, a few I don’t, and some I’d prefer stayed the way Windows 10 was. Still, I’m upgrading for better support and security, haha. Moving on, I plan to order those components soon and aim for a 4070 or similar by the end of the year. Also, remember what you mentioned about a 4080? I looked into PCPP earlier and couldn’t install it with my current EVGA G2 650W PSU—it doesn’t have the right connector, unfortunately.
Hey! Just wanted to share that the PC has launched to the desktop and System Information & Task Manager are now identifying the 5700X3D—great news! See the images below. Quick note: Removing my old CPU cooler was a bit tricky, it got really stuck, but after applying a little heat it finally came off. I then installed the 5700X3D and began working on the cooler, which took longer than expected (about 1-2 hours) to fully install and secure on the motherboard. After that, I placed the RAM in slots 2 and 4 (left to right, A2 and B2), booted up, and saw a message about `fTPM/PSP NV`. I pressed Y and reset it, waited a couple minutes, and returned to the desktop successfully. I might need to tweak the cooler position later, possibly due to slight misalignment from the new Corsair RAM Kit. For now, I plan to run some benchmarks tomorrow to confirm everything is working properly. Hopefully it’s correctly attached!
