A 5000 series CPU can enable you to use your existing RAM at 3000 and utilize the entire available capacity.
You're asking about the CORSAIR 4x8GB kit you mentioned. It seems you want to know if you're referring to the specific model you currently own. If so, thank you for sharing the details. You're considering whether to upgrade to a higher-speed kit or stick with what you have, possibly adding more RAM later. The link you provided points to a Corsair product page for a 32GB DDR4 system. Your thoughts on the value and timing are clear—balancing cost, performance, and future needs.
The upgrade would cost a lot but would significantly boost performance. You could access RAM more quickly in your new setup (using two sticks instead of four). Blender would also speed up considerably thanks to the dedicated ray tracing cores in the RTX series GPUs and additional VRAM. For 4K rendering, 12GB of VRAM might be insufficient, though it would be better than 8GB. You might consider a used or refurbished RTX 4080.
Using an X3D benefits from a big L3 cache, so RAM speed becomes less critical as long as you have recent RAM (2933 and above).
Hey, I have a quick question about your setup. You're considering the 5700X3D and a new CPU cooler along with a RAM kit. For RAM, you're looking into the T6s7qH model from PCPP, but it seems GIGABYTE's support page doesn<|pad|>?to list it. They also mention an outdated memory support list, which might affect the 5700X3D or your chosen RAM. Are you sure Windows 10 will work without issues? I understand you picked a higher RAM model because the one linked was out of stock, especially since it's important for your FiveM RP. Just let me know if everything looks good or if you expect problems. Thanks!
Hello! From the link you shared about your motherboard, your CPU is confirmed to be listed and supported (provided the BIOS is updated). It appears in the image below. However, it might not come with BIOS version F51g; if that's the case, you'll need to update the BIOS yourself using an older CPU, which could cause issues. Regarding RAM compatibility, as long as you have a DDR4 kit with 3200MT/s or lower (your model fits this), it should work fine. Let me know if you need further assistance!
Hey! I noticed the 5700X3D there, but the link only shows up to the "Raven Ridge" family in the 2000 Series, which appears under Support > Support List. My mistake—I should have phrased it more clearly, lol. The Ryzen 5000 models are Granite Ridge.
I also got confused with that site, but DDR4 RAM should be fine. Do you have an older Ryzen processor nearby? It might be needed to update the BIOS.
