We don't know what you'll be using it for, or what hardware you'll be combining it with. Please be more specific.

It's ideal for high-performance builds. The top options include the 3770K and certain Xeons, which also support 4C/8T configurations.

You're asking about compatibility and future-proofing. It's important to confirm whether the socket matches your intended build before purchasing. If you're considering an upgrade, avoid buying a 1151 motherboard right away—wait until you need something newer, like an i7 3770K or higher, which will require a new board, CPU, and RAM.

Would it be beneficial to upgrade? If you're planning to build a gaming PC now, can you expect to extend its lifespan by about a year or more without needing major changes? Also, the motherboard only supports DDR3 RAM, which is acceptable for your needs.

I don’t have the details yet. Right now I only know the motherboard and the cooler, which is why I’m checking about the CPU. Plus, I’m thinking about getting a GTX 1050 Ti, a 750 Ti, or an RX 570.

for gaming, the i7-2600 is ideal, but remember not all 1155 boards are the same. It's crucial to know your specific setup. Q67 express boards won't work with 3rd gen CPUs like the i7-2700K.

You could pair it with a high-performance graphics card like an RTX 3080 or similar for optimal results.

It generally works well to match an RX 570 with most current titles, but the best choice varies based on your gaming preferences.
