The motherboard appears intact after removing the CPU; the pins look fine and there’s no damage. It also powers the RAM properly, which is unusual since it hasn’t been an issue with the previous two AM4 systems.

Upgrade the BIOS for Zen4. The system has been running for a while, and numerous improvements have been made recently.

It might simply be that the BIOS is outdated—since the motherboard is only a year old, the BIOS could be too old to work properly. Or perhaps the issue was more widespread at the time, like with the AMD Ryzen 5000 platform when it first launched.

It's normal to test things out, especially with a new AM5 setup.

I'll attempt it. I plan to keep the system active for about an hour or two just to check how long it takes to load the RAM. It seems to be freezing while loading.

It shouldn't be this way. Last year's memory training for a 32GB device lasted only 20-25 seconds.

I'll attempt a shorter clip to demonstrate the issue, but it seems the build is getting stuck as I've observed in other setups with the same CPU and RAM.

Here's a video of what it dose. It looks like it's ram training but when ever the ram lights go off the gpu fans also stop spinning then when ram lights back up again so to do the gpu fans start spinning again. 20231216_223942.mp4

The information came from the BIOS. Since the motherboard was a first batch of AM5 models, it lacked support for CPUs and RAM. The problem has been resolved after being added to the BIOS.

It's good that it worked right away with Zen4. They released both products together. I purchased my board and chips the day they were launched about a year ago, and everything went smoothly. The launch BIOS was from October 2022. The 7600 came out later, but I don't think there were any problems compared to their x models. At least it's functioning now.
