Hi Everyone, I’m facing some issues with my hardware. The system won’t boot and displays random BSOD errors whenever I try to start it. It worked fine with Windows 11 before it crashed. I can access BIOS but can’t boot any OS. SSD has been ruled out since both Windows 10 and 11 are already installed. RAM tests gave similar results. I tried a different RAM setup, downgraded the motherboard BIOS, and even searched for compatible parts like toasted resistors, but nothing visible. My machine is an MSI B360mPro with 16GB RAM, NVMe SSD, and integrated graphics. Any advice or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

You've noticed improvement after turning off Intel Turbo Boost in the BIOS. The diagnostics came back clean, which is a good sign. It might be related to system stability or driver settings rather than hardware issues. Consider checking for background processes or updates that could affect performance.

Based on what you've shared, it seems like the issue could be with the power supply unit or the CPU VRM. Have you got a backup PSU available for testing? I'd start there, then move on to the motherboard.

Thanks, I'll check for another power source and try it out. I'm currently using a Thermaltake TR2-600NL2NC.

It should have been a reliable power source, but I’ve noticed PSUs deteriorating gradually over time. They wouldn’t fully energize hard drives when I had more than three installed, and GPUs would crash because they couldn’t get enough power. In both cases, the setups had lasted over a decade—some even 12 years. The PSU was slowly failing, losing one rail at a time.

Updated - Tested a different power supply and got the same outcome. Is there anything I can adjust in the BIOS to enable Turbo Boost and get this running smoothly? (MSI B360M Pro - VDH with i7 8700). I haven’t experimented with overclocking before, but I’m wondering if tweaking the BIOS settings could help with the power draw during startup. Photos of the current BIOS are attached.

I can start in safe mode when turbo boost is turned off, but not when it's active. I manage to just clear the BIOS welcome screen and then immediately crash with an unexpected BSOD fragment.
