junkeymonkey :
''I started with just 2 sticks, then 2 more came yesterday'''
this could cause problems because the kits aren't fully matched anymore. now you're getting a complete 4-stick set, which is generally a good thing. it's important not to mix memory or mismatched kits since you can't be sure if the ICs were replaced from your initial order. [this should change without warning]
1. I had the same issues before.
2. I purchased the same kit – both the first HX430C15SBK2/16 and the new HX430C15SB2K2/16.

Maxwellmelon is checking the compatibility of your motherboard with the specified Kingston memory part. If it's not officially supported, it might run inconsistently at high frequencies. Apologies for the confusion, I was mistaken—my earlier comment was incorrect. It appears you have a 4x 8GB configuration, not 64GB. 😊

only sticks in the same box kit are ensured to work together, which is why they’re sold as a complete set. Now you might be left trying to get the most out of the two individual kits to make them function as a group? I notice at Toms, Kingston often gets more attention than other brands. But honestly, after multiple ASUS updates for system stability, I decided to stop supporting them. By the time I reached the 18th update, I was done with all of them.

HX430C15PB2K4/16 only QVL for your motherboard at 3000mhz from Kingston remains untested in my records regarding compatibility with that board.

It's really frustrating, I didn't realize it could cause any issues with DDR4, same frequency, and even the same part number—it's strange. I understand they didn't test it, but why wouldn't it work? There must be some reasons I'm not aware of.

still could be something, until you acquire more memory—like a GSKill or Corsair kit—to attempt and verify. just because it isn’t on the list doesn’t mean it won’t function. it should be as straightforward as setting the XMP 99% of the time? then there’s still that 1% factor.
maybe tradesman1 will come along with some useful tips. he seems pretty skilled at memory.

Even being on the motherboard approved list doesn't always ensure success. A customer once purchased a Gigabyte and some "approved" RAM from their website, but the system crashed. New platforms often seem more demanding when they first launch. Combining RAM kits typically leads to crashes. What happens if you try using one kit at a time? It's usually stable. If nothing else works, the Summer Solstice is coming in late June.

here’s what I’d do… it might be a problem with the four sticks. try placing two in the right slots and test [i’ll probably go with two sticks and it works]. no. XMP Profile 1 ERROR 55 when using just the first and second kits. tried both kits, both slots. updated to the latest BIOS. running at 4530Mhz with ASUS EZ auto-tune (103x44) or whatever that name is. i bet I’ll get a BSOD after a few Overwatch games again. 🤢

I waste a lot of money on this and it's not working. Yes sir, I've been there before; don't act like the lone ranger in that statement. I considered mentioning it but didn't now realize the mistake. Error 55 was something I saw earlier—maybe with a CPU cooler that wasn't tightened properly, or a backplate issue or a short circuit. [Can't hurt to take a look]

I can take a look, but it doesn't make a sense, RAM kits are working 100% OK at 2133Mhz.. at 2666Mhz, they falls to BSOD sometimes..300Mhz = Error 55..
with that problem, they would not work even with 2133Mhz right?
