I understand what you're referring to, but that issue with error 55 shouldn't appear instantly regardless of speed or memory used. It's interesting how many people search for "xmp error55" and see results from various ASUS boards and Corsair threads. It seems similar to a failed overclock, which explains why it can run at the default 2133 MHz. It's funny that someone with a K chip would expect XMP to force it to go up to 3000 MHz. Have you tried setting up RAM manually for 3000 MHz? I'll keep checking more about this error.

I've slightly loosened the screws on my CPU cooler Freezer 13 and for sure loosened the ones holding the RAM kits.
And... it's working.
I'll do some stress tests.
Hopefully we found a solution.
You did it! You're my rockstar!

my vision is deteriorating, making it hard to see clearly
the cooler was the problem and everything seems fine at 3000? it looks like that. if you hadn’t shared that error 55, I wouldn’t have assumed that earlier that would have alerted me

Yep, do you have a "full screen" icon at the bottom right of the picture?
Interesting point: stock timing needs to be 15/16/16 and it should be 15/17/17 according to XMP. Both RAM kits are the same, so that's fine.
I also have all four 8GB units connected. Great!

I understand, I'm still not a kid and have plenty of welding experience. So, how's it going? And by the way, what CPU cooler are you using?

It might be due to the resolution not being 1920X1080, so it appears full screen.
The system is showing 3000Mhz with 15/17/17.
CPU speed is 100x44Mhz which equals 4.4Ghz; I hope to reach around 4.6Ghz and would like to try that later.
Adjusted the OC on the GPU slightly and will test stability.
Thanks again.
I'm using Arctic Freeezer 13.
