It seems the processor didn't fit correctly. Luckily, it functions now!

I misunderstood. The fourth stick led to instability. Regardless, 3 out of 4 is still acceptable, particularly because the fourth one was behaving poorly earlier.

It looks like you're experiencing some stability problems, but I'll work through them and run some tests. You're currently using three out of four sticks.

It seems there might have been an issue, and I’m curious if the board should handle a return or replacement. Please note this situation remains unresolved. Updated: February 10, 2023 by CaptainDarkstar42

Looks good now. It's been working under load for a few hours. I'm replacing the faulty RAM module and really hope this fixes everything. The original problem was about dual-channel, but it seems that's no longer an issue. Re-seating the CPU definitely helped.

It's likely a tiny dust particle entered your socks and triggered the problem. Socket oxidation might also be contributing to higher resistance at the connection point. Hopefully this resolved the issue. You should have checked your RAM with Memtest86. If it still reports errors, try swapping the slots or sending it back for replacement. (This helped when my PC failed with a memory error and I provided the test results.) Once XMP/EXPO is enabled and you retest, proceed. Using default settings works fine, but 64 GB can take several hours—possibly 5+.
