It appears the antivirus software—such as Defender, Malwarebytes, or Avast—is interfering with my system. Anyone has any suggestions to resolve this?

attempted removing avast and checked if it resolves the issue. You can't fully stop defender, but it shouldn't run if avast is active.

it happened to me too, it was caused by widgets from the taskbar even though they were disabled. what helped me was turning them on, then adjusting their settings to disable everything, and finally disabling the widgets again.
