Question Just installed a new PSU but now... ?
I've just put in an MSI MAG A750GL PCIE5 PSU and my PC won't even turn on. I have an MSI MAG B460M BAZOOKA motherboard. I think if it doesn't power on at all, there must be a mistake with the connection, but I'm not sure what. There are all these cables and wires, but I tried to figure out what I was doing, though it didn't help. What could I have done wrong? Thanks.
Have you checked that all connections from and to the PSU are securely attached in their connectors? You may want to share pictures of how you connected the PSU to your parts. Upload the images to Imgur and send the links here for us to review. Did you reuse any cables from an earlier project?

Page 6 shows the leads on the left; follow them to the PSU, then to your components.
Page 5 indicates where the PSU leads connect to the PSU side.
I used all the new cables provided. I didn't recycle anything.

I'll take some photos and upload them now
Sorry for the confusion. The top picture indicates the 8 pin CPU is connected. Two additional images display the 8 pin RXT and the extra connectors coming off it. The last photo shows how I only connected power to the PSU so far. I didn't mention that the other end is also connected to the board's power.
The issue is I'm unsure about the connection points for the other components. There are several PCI, CPU, SATA connections, and so on.
I managed to get it working but now another puzzling issue keeps appearing on the forum, Reddit, and when I ask others. Windows 10 sometimes freezes unexpectedly, forcing a restart at any moment. Occasionally it displays a blue screen asking for error data before restarting again. Despite checking hardware monitors, temperatures, speeds, voltages, and performing all maintenance tasks—replacing GPU, SSD, optical drive, updating software, cleaning fans, inspecting cables, installing a new network card—it still occurs. Now only the CPU and motherboard remain. Why does this keep happening? I’m really frustrated after all the work and expense, and I don’t know what else to try.
