at least now I'm running my new CPU and RAM. I had the RX 6600 installed, so that was fine. I plan to change the PSU in November or December, but I think Windows 11 doesn't support HDDs anymore. I see that my PC is still using an HDD as the main OS. With a 512GB SSD I'm not using it for the OS because I ended up installing some games on it—probably a mistake.

Bit confused how are you using your new cpu if you can't because you have to go to a shop to update the mobo bios?
Anyway, new psu soon as poss. is a great idea since failure of a low quality power supply could potentially wipe out your system when (rather than if) it malfunctions.
It is much preferable to use the sdd as the primary os drive yes windows 11 does support hdd but ssd's are 8x faster i/o speed so the system is way more responsive.
You can get by on just 1 2tb nvme but, several drives is preferable, for various maneuvering, plus some back up strategy for data (if you have anything important).
I usually buy a new drive to host the OS, use a partition manager to copy it over, wipe the old disk, done, relegate the old disk to steam libraries, or storage for things I don't want to have to redownload every time.
Here you have two disks with data you wanna keep, so, you'd need a third to do any fancy maneuvers. That would require some knowledge of how to manage partitions on a disk, which learning from scratch, is a bit of a slog - been doing that since ms-dos - and there is not any sort of implant with pre-coded steps, to inject.
Should be easy? Just get a bootable usb app like diskgenius (if it still exists, for all I know I've got the last working copy on a usb flash drive - had it so long, the software landscape might've shifted by now) to move partitions between drives.
Seriously I wish libraries or something had courses for beginners. It's too much.

I'm mainly trying to address the issue where the Windows 11 monitor or similar indicates incompatibility, but I'll switch to Linux eventually. That's why I'm confused about why it says my PC isn't compatible when my processor and motherboard have the TPU 2.0, even though I plan to upgrade to an NVMe SSD later. I also mentioned using my SSD for gaming because I was still using an old HDD. My PSU had no real problems, but the power supply had some issues—there was a surge protection in the motherboard and an UPS, but it only handled the anti-electric surge. I can't use the battery right now since I'm unsure how to fix that. My current system is still working with an AMD 5800X, so I'm worried about this. Thanks for reading me.

Power from the mains goes through the ups directly to the motherboard via the 24-pin connector. Low-tier PSUs lack built-in protections or have faulty ones, which could still cause damage.
Are you using Windows 10? That’s why the Windows 11 version would warn against upgrading.

The i7 2600k was protected because it was a P8P67 LE from ASUS, which included built-in surge protection on the motherboard. When I looked for another motherboard, the best options I found were those with spike protection. I’m not sure that would make much difference, and yes, I’m using Windows 10 Enterprise LTS because I tried that. The new motherboard is an ASRock B450M AC R2.0 Ryzen 7 5800X with 32GB RAM, two HDDs of 3TB each, plus a 512GB SSD.
