I usually choose an aftermarket cooler and haven't unlocked the amd overclocking on my board. I prefer not to undervolt with the curve optimizer since I might do it later when the warranty ends.
My power usage is still quite good, around 55w on my hex core Ryzen 1080p, which rarely goes above that. You could always turn off two cores of your octa-core CPU if the BIOS lets it and treat them as hex cores. It would be better to avoid heavily loaded situations.

i just hope i can secure at least a 650-watt psu from evga, though i understand it would be better to get a 750-watt one. for the dissipator, sadly there are limited choices, as retailers in venezuela aren't reliable or trustworthy, and my main concern right now is getting a psu.
If you use that amd stock Wraith Cooler I'd suggest removing the pre-applied thermal compound and applying mx-4 instead due to

Since, you are planning on using a good quality psu when it becomes available and your system survives beyond day 0 there continues the possibility that the thermal compound supplied with the standard cooler ossifies.
Please also understand the preferred method of removing a cooler on such zif (zero insertion force) sockets is to gently twist to break the seal with the thermal compound rather than pull up and yank the cpu right out of the socket if it has adhered to the cooler base.
It is not, as implied by 'zero insertion force' secured with any much force greater than friction and gravity. The friction of the pins against the leaf springs in the plastic socket.
It looks like I'm doing alright right now, but I'm hoping to get the new PSU in about a month or two. Also, it seems I need to visit a shop to change the BIOS on my B450M AC R2.0, so they'll have to install everything since I can't update the motherboard myself—I only have an older CPU than the 5800XT.
