I'm not sure if it's appropriate to mention this, but when I adjust the system settings to view specifications, I might look for original receipts—it's the only part I haven't upgraded in years.

So, a 2.5" SATA III SSD?
If yes, you won’t need an external enclosure.
You can move straight from the Patriot to any M.2 storage you acquire.
