Running a PowerSpec PC with the following components:
ASRock a520m/ac motherboard
AMD Ryzen 5600G
16 GB of Oloy Owl 3200 DDR4 RAM
Intel 9260 wireless card
WD Black SN750 500GB SSD
PowerSpec 400w power supply
Lian Li case.
Since I acquired the machine, I’ve encountered problems. When attempting to run a USB flash drive and a wireless mouse simultaneously through the front USB 3.0 ports, the mouse freezes. Regardless of the port used on the back or front, the mouse becomes unresponsive. I’ve updated the BIOS, turned off the fTPM, and tried Windows 10 and 11.
A wired mouse functions perfectly.
What could I be overlooking?
The mouse might be damaged. Do you have an extra wireless mouse to try? Also, do you notice a disconnect sound from the computer when the mouse is connected?
I’ve tested several mice, but all of them have the same problem except the wired one. I don’t hear the disconnect sound either.
Is there anything in the room with you that could be interfering with the wireless mouse? Like a third party device such as a phone. This is a rare case but is still possible. Go into BIOS and enable legacy USB support in case you have it off.
I’ve positioned my iPhone and iPad 20 feet away from their chargers, with no house phone connected. To activate legacy USB support in your BIOS, follow the appropriate steps specific to your device model.
What is the age of the computer? What is the PowerSpec 400w power supply's age? Is this PSU original to the computer, a new replacement, refurbished, or used?

Consider using a USB extension cable to elevate the wireless mouse dongle out of the case. Adjust its position slightly to see if performance changes. Try different USB ports and test with or without the USB flash drive.
The computer is roughly a month old, and the PSU came with it. I’m considering shifting the receiver to the USB 3.0 hub connected to my backup drive, which is about a foot away from the computer. Only the front ports seem to fail when using a mouse receiver and a flash drive simultaneously. Two flash drives, the backup drive, and a webcam all function in either port. The issue arises only when using a mouse receiver in one port and a flash drive in the other. All back ports work with the mouse, though they exhibit different levels of lag and jitter.
I don’t play games on it; the PSU was included with the computer and is less than a month old. The USB 3 hub connects to the Seagate backup drive. I’m using a 27-inch 4K monitor, two NVMe drives, and two fans.
