Question about connecting to Ethernet?
What is "windows loop"? Can you provide a screenshot? (upload to imgur.com and post link)
By loop I mean that when I turn on my PC it goes to Windows and starts searching for ethernet and can't find one....even though I have ethernet cable plugged in. I can reach a command line - but I'm not sure how to either load drivers or remove windows. I also tried installing a new wifi driver on a flash drive, but I'm not sure how to access the flash drive either.
Please show a screenshot.
Your description is too vague.
Generally you have to install a lan driver.
You download it from motherboard manufacturer support site.
What is model name of your motherboard?

Windows loaded but then it looks for internet. So now every time I start it up - windows boots up and gets to where it looks for internet and stops with the message that it can't find any ethernet connection. I think its because there is no driver.
Read the Windows 11 installation guide.
