I installed windows 11 first before adding drivers. Now I'm uncertain about breaking the Windows loop. It keeps saying "Can't connect to ethernet."

What are the specifications for this setup (brand and model of each part installed)? Did this system function before using another version of Windows?

By loop I mean that when I turn on my PC it goes to Windows and starts searching for ethernet and can't find one....even though I have ethernet cable plugged in. I can reach a command line - but I'm not sure how to either load drivers or remove windows. I also tried installing a new wifi driver on a flash drive, but I'm not sure how to access the flash drive either.

Please show a screenshot.
Your description is too vague.
Generally you have to install a lan driver.
You download it from motherboard manufacturer support site.
What is model name of your motherboard?

Ok, I'm new to this. I should have mentioned this is a new build. I built the PC with MSI 690 with Wifi. Once I knew it would power up, I turned it off and restarted it with Windows 11 flash drive. Windows loaded but then it looks for internet. So now every time I start it up - windows boots up and gets to where it looks for internet and stops with the message that it can't find any ethernet connection. I think its because there is no driver.

The precise full model of the motherboard is important. Are there any Wi-Fi settings in your BIOS that I should check? Did you connect your PC to the router using an Ethernet cable?

The motherboard I have is an MSI Z690-A Pro Wifi DDR4 LGA 1700ATX. I'm not sure if Wi-Fi is turned on in BIOS. My computer is also connected via Ethernet to the router.
