If they don’t produce Half Life, they’ll flood the market with copies of GabeN’s work. The video has many negative reactions, but I’m in agreement with the commenter: Valve’s priorities are clear. They’re concentrating on other projects and haven’t rushed Half Life 3 despite fan demand. They’ll wait until the game is fully ready, keeping its release tight to maintain quality. They want to ensure HL3 stands out as a top title, just like its predecessors, and avoid the pitfalls of past delays.
The game is likely to disappoint because it feels overly hyped for its own sake. It might still be a solid title if released, but it will probably surprise players with its unexpected direction.
It's amusing how some fans begin to dislike Valve. I don't mind the HL3 buzz, but I appreciate the Half-Life lineup. I won't push Valve to release HL3, or at least try. The more we wait, the better it'll be, right?
this exactly. its never going to live up to its expectations. and personally im not a huge fan of the franchise. its meh, and hl3 will be meh.

I recently purchased HL2 with high expectations, but instead faced confusion and a lack of excitement. It turned out to be more about perseverance than enjoyment, and I learned that the HL series is just a standard FPS with some puzzle elements in a game I don’t particularly like, using the Source engine. It’s not the experience I hoped for.
