Actually, dust inside the system is reasonable, your PC can be seen as a dust storage area.

This could raise temperatures, leading to thermal throttling and slowing down the computer.

I purchased it secondhand, probably because someone accidentally dropped a GPU in an HP Compaq 8000 Elite... And I ended up swapping out my hard drives.

I'm planning to tidy up my PC and will follow up once I've checked the performance. The thermal paste on my CPU is outdated, which is a concern. I might need to replace it soon since I'm getting a new CPU, which should solve the issue.

You can find thermal paste at a very low cost when you really need it.

Start by dismantling and removing any dust if needed. The temperatures on your GPU indicate a likely airflow problem. Overheating is a major concern—ask this person for advice. If cleaning, reinstalling the cooler, and dusting components doesn’t resolve the issue, suspect something is failing inside your system. Fingers crossed the cleaning fixes it.

or this could also suggest you weren't careful enough—I ended up buying a used laptop from someone who thought it was failing. No matter how much I cleaned it, it would slow down when idle, disassembled it, and even managed to pull out half a cat from the heatsink. I guess I’m the only one who really understands where dust tends to gather inside laptops.
