In recent months CSGO has seen a drop in performance. Initially, my PC handled 70 to 90 frames smoothly, but it gradually slowed down to around 60-70 before failing completely. After repairs, it still lags at 30-45 fps with frequent frame drops. I’m running the game at the lowest settings (1600x900) on a monitor without 1080p capability. I’ve tried launch options like -high and -nojoy to help. My system specs include an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400, 3.00 GHz, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, a GeForce GT 630 with 1 GB GDDR5, a Hewlett-Packard 3647h motherboard, and a 320W PSU.

No, I haven't checked your drivers yet. Could you confirm if you've updated them?

Yes, several other titles have implemented similar adjustments, such as reducing frame rates or altering gameplay speed to enhance performance.

Sure, I understand. I’m looking for a way to monitor CPU and GPU usage while playing games without hurting performance too much. Right now, in MSI Kombuster 3 at the default 720p setting, the GPU temperature stays around 80°C and usage hits 100%. For other games like LoL, Minecraft, and Gmod, I want a similar setup that works well on a budget system.

Don't take my silly comments seriously, it might just be dust. I'd better look it over.

How much time has the PC been with you? Did you assemble it yourself or simply install a ready-made system with a GPU? What caused the failure? What steps did you take to resolve the issue?
