Hey everyone, I'm trying to figure out what's going on with my new PC. I installed the Ryzen 5 7600x, Sapphire RX 7800 XT, Asus Prime B650 Plus, Corsair Vengeance RGB, and several other components. After about ten minutes of playing modern games like Halo Infinite, they all crash to the desktop. No error messages, no black screen, just a sudden shutdown. It happens with games ranging from Halo to less demanding titles like Against the Storm. I've checked BIOS settings, updated drivers, and even tried using Windows 11 via HDMI/DisplayPort, but nothing fixes it. I thought it might be a RAM problem, ran Memtest64 without issues, and checked memory usage during games, but no spikes were recorded. The thermal and load stats look normal. I've also tried reinstalling Windows 10, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

You're asking if the issue might be related to those particular games. I recall Halo MCC experiencing memory leaks. Have you checked benchmarking games like CS:GO?

It seems this problem occurs across all games I've played—Halo Infinite, Hunt Showdown, Against the Storm, and Starfield. I'm planning to download CS:GO 2 to check if it's still an issue.

Prefer the first option since that game runs smoothly on all systems. It might be a VRAM issue. Please check your GPU and CPU temperatures during gameplay, especially noting the temperature when the game crashes.

GPU can reach around 73°C under normal conditions. I can check crashing games for those numbers. Also, yes, you can still install CS GO from Steam.

Yes, it failed on the 74C GPU and around 54C CPU. It lasted about 13 minutes.

It was on Halo Infite, CS:GO 2 also experienced issues, but it took more time to resolve.

It seems you're considering three potential causes for the issue: a memory leak, a software glitch, or a faulty GPU. To check if it's related to RAM, try using your IGPU and see how it performs. If you're unsure, a software update or driver check might help.

I can't take out the screws or fix everything, but I made the PC use the internal GPU instead of the external one through the BIOS. It worked, so the crash wasn’t due to the graphics card. CS:GO 2 didn’t crash after two hours. It might be related to VRAM or another GPU component, but it seems like a GPU problem.

The drivers might be the problem, but it could also stem from a software glitch. Now you’re sure your RAM is functioning perfectly.
