When transitioning from a CPU to an APU, I discovered the issue stemmed from my overclocking configurations. The APU displayed correctly after that change, and upon reverting back to the CPU, attempting a minor overclock resulted in a black screen.

Your outdated processor necessitates avoiding any overclocking attempts, as it likely suffered significant damage. The central processing unit presents a substantial limitation.

Based on my analysis, it appears that reconfiguring the BIOS to utilize automatic CPU multipliers resulted in a deliberate reduction of the processor’s speed, successfully maintaining temperatures below 70° Celsius while gaming. When I manually adjusted the multipliers to specific values, the CPU experienced overheating during testing. Consequently, I believe a reapplication of thermal paste is necessary. Furthermore, the Radeon Settings’ “Host Application” feature demonstrates significant CPU usage.
