Deceptive marketing aside, I see it has 2x WAN ports, can OP provide dual uplink from a nearby router/modem and get 200Mbps out of it??? If he's got 1 ethernet ran to it already, might as well run a 2nd. Worth a shot lol Edit: I'm stupid, the receiving end will only spit out 100Mbps , return the dumb thing lol
Thank you all! Any suggestions for a DLAN device would be very helpful. Otherwise, thank you for your time and assistance.
It lacks WAN ports and only has LAN ports. I question its functionality—think it might just use a switch or limit itself to four pairs per port for 100Mbps at each end. Even when combined, it wouldn't reach 200Mbps; a single transfer would cap at 100Mbps, though two transfers could operate simultaneously at 100Mbps.
It won't affect the outcome; your speed will stay at 100Mbps per port no matter what you do.
Review the changes, I reached that conclusion almost as quickly as I formed the idea.
I thought the opposite end also had two ports linked together. But the result matches what I provided—it would practically support 2x 100Mbps (though the adapter wouldn’t handle LACP)—instead of merging to a single 200Mbps for one transfer. Usually not much benefit for the end device; better suited for switches and servers that need several high-speed connections from various devices.
