Hi, the prompt suggests using Windows 8.1 or 10 with a product key. You mentioned Windows 8 is no longer supported, but Windows 8.1 is still available for purchase.

Upgrade to Windows 10, enter your Microsoft login when prompted, and everything should work smoothly.

Your current memory state is being checked. The Windows 8 key should trigger activation for Windows 10. Try the key now to confirm.

It seems the product key isn’t included in the bios, or only the Dell version displays it. The setup process might request it, but Produkey can’t access it.

It isn't listed on the machine's side or in any manual.

The installation process will prompt you; select "I don't have a product key," proceed with installation, and then activate it via the Control Panel to check functionality.

Not found on the device as far as I understand. According to Dell, it should be embedded in the BIOS, which seems to be the case for machines with Windows 8 or newer. This PC hasn’t been upgraded to Windows 10, so this is more of a theory. Still, there might be a COA sticker on some machines.

Whoops.... It looks like your message got mixed up with someone else's. Don’t worry, that usually happens. For Win7/8 or Windows 10, using the keys from Windows 10 will work if you install it and skip entering a product key. I’ve tried this on two laptops, including my own, and it functions properly.

When you lack a key but your system is enabled with Windows 7 or later, you can use the Windows 10 Download Tool to upgrade. After starting Windows 10 and confirming activation with digital rights, you may proceed with a clean installation.
