I understand. It has crashed several times, so I can try it at my B&H and return it if it doesn’t resolve the issue. This gives me extra flexibility to test additional cards too. The thought that points to a possible PSU problem comes from the fact that the 1660S functions perfectly.
I’m replacing an outdated power supply so it won’t be new. I picked a Corsair SFX 850 watt unit, but it didn’t help either. I plan to swap the 4070 for a 7800XT because it’s the top AMD option that fits my system and I want to check if that works.
