Problems with DisplayPort detection?
The solution typically involves disconnecting the monitor's power cord for about five minutes before reattaching it, which helps discharge a capacitor.
I'm really happy to have discovered this thread and this solution. The issue was really frustrating for me.
Are you worried about the PC power while it's running? It doesn't really matter if it's on or off, unplugged or plugged in. I searched for a fix for two hours last night and tried different methods—plugging it in, unplugging, turning it on/off—but only briefly. Updated the BIOS and drivers, hoping for a smooth 144Hz setup!

I'm facing the same issue as well—unplugging the monitor for a short time to let power reset (LEDs should shut off in 5-10 seconds). This is just a temporary fix, and you'll probably need to repeat it each time you turn off your computer. It seems like the display port might randomly detect or not detect the connection depending on the settings. Switching to "High Performance" in power settings hasn't helped so far. I'm trying to see if changing the DP cables will resolve it, but they're securely plugged in and working fine. I'll check back in a few days to see if the problem persists.
