Ensure all drivers are current, as this often points to an issue with Windows 10. If the problem involves memory handling, it might be due to insufficient RAM or instability—consider lowering your RAM speed.

Asus states: four DIMM slots, up to 64GB, DDR4 3866(O.C.)/3733(O.C.)/3600(O.C.)/3466(O.C.)/3400(O.C.)/3333(O.C.)/3300(O.C.)/3200(O.C.)/3000(O.C.)/2800(O.C.)/2666(O.C.)/2400(O.C.)/2133 MHz, non-ECC, un-buffered memory. I’m running at 3000MHz and haven’t turned on XMP. Intel mentions: DDR4-2133/2400, DDR3L-1333/1600 at 1.35V for its I7700k. It’s unclear how that translates but adjusting lower in BIOS isn’t something I’m comfortable doing.

Test it at 2400mhz and observe if the issue continues. In BIOS you’ll find the process straightforward—just adjust the RAM speed manually in the AI tweaker settings, typically under Memory Frequency or DRAM frequency options. You should select a suitable speed without altering other voltage settings.

I'll attempt it right away once I'm back. Appreciate the help! Have you come across this problem before?

Certainly, a colleague encountered a problem with his PC during setup. He attempted to install 1600MHz RAM, but the system restricted it to 1333MHz, resolving the issue entirely.

Fascinating. It works out logically. The board doesn’t appear stable even when XMP is turned on. I’ll switch it over and wait a couple days before checking again. Appreciate the help!

In my profile the desired speed was already 2133, yet the actual dropdown to adjust the speed was configured as auto. I’m unsure if it will automatically overclock past this target, but I chose 2133 instead of letting it do so.

I ran a stress test on my PC for about two hours without any problems. When launching Ghost Recon, it froze. It triggered a BSOD with the error code KMODE_EXECEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. After rebooting, I reached the home screen and experienced another BSOD: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA. Research suggested this might be related to a driver problem. I also checked forums for the Windows Xbox controller wireless USB issue and found others had similar experiences. It appears this was likely the last device I purchased, and it has been acting strangely since then. Updated: I removed Malwarebytes, Afterburner, Rivatuner, and the controller is now functioning properly.
