Yes, they resolved the problem of opening Windows Explorer for any folder when the scaling exceeds 150%.

You're experiencing issues similar to what's reported across various software platforms. It seems you should tweak over-scan or under-scan settings. HDMI presents challenges due to its lack of reliability and user-friendliness compared to DisplayPort or even DVI. Remember to restart your system after making adjustments. Assuming no third-party applications affecting window positioning, consider uninstalling such software and restarting. I'm not familiar with AMD GPUs, so review all options and confirm nothing is enabled. If these steps don't resolve the problem, make sure you have the most recent graphics card drivers installed.

There are numerous laptops and tablets featuring higher DPI configurations. At my previous position, I worked with a 4K monitor and handled DPI scaling for the company's software. Such problems don't occur, at least with Nvidia GPUs and Intel integrated graphics.

Consider giving it a shot. It's disappointing that Lenovo's tools lack scaling options.

it's not about overscan or underscan. the only area beyond what you can see is the application window. for instance in these screenshots, I can't click any buttons at the bottom unless I hide the taskbar; usually I just resize the window to make it work, but this app window and others don't let me do that, or there isn't enough adjustment to fix the issue.
