I've tested both shorting and reconnecting the pins, but the behavior remains consistent. It might indicate a problem with the CMOS battery.

It's unlikely a battery would stop your system completely, so I'd attempt the methods listed next...

It might be related to the GPU, as the system loads but you don’t see anything on the display.

It appears there might be an issue, though it doesn’t seem like you damaged your GPU. You touched a bit of dust recently, but you were careful not to make contact.
