I worked on my PC thoroughly today, disassembling everything and cleaning it with a low-powered air blower. I lightly dusted the remaining parts, used 99.9% isopropyl to remove the thermal paste, and then reapplied it using Mx6. After reassembly, it won’t power on at all. I’ve verified all cables are properly connected. When I power on the PSU, the motherboard LEDs flash off, but nothing else happens.

Basic fixes would involve: Clearing the CMOS (using both the header and shorting the battery for a minute) Reconnecting the RAM, then re-seating the GPU (if available) Attempt to operate with the fewest components and connections (remove all unnecessary PCIe cards and drives—including the boot drive—and unplug non-essential peripherals) If you have an alternative power supply, switch to it (even if it's underpowered, it might allow the system to boot) Take out the CPU and inspect for bent pins (on CPU or motherboard)

The fans activate and operate normally. Besides flashing lights, other effects may occur such as sound cues, visual patterns, or system alerts depending on the setup.

Initially, it seems there might be a disconnect that needs attention. Verify each connection is properly attached and positioned correctly. Double-check everything to ensure it's securely placed.

I’m going to disassemble everything once more and verify each part, hoping things go smoothly.

Avoid dismantling everything, focus on the case side and verify the connections first.

Ensure all connectors are completely snug, some designs require a tight fit and what seems like the limit is reached. This has happened multiple times—often more than twice—and recently it occurred again.

Make sure your connection is secure and the power button is fully pressed—those wires are really delicate and can easily come out without you noticing.
