I'm really unsure about Asus support—it seems pretty lacking. I ran into a problem with my modem and they just told me to buy a new one. When I asked about VLAN ID support, they were confused and didn’t know what it was. They mentioned it’s not great, especially compared to other brands I’ve used. After some digging, it looks like even high-end devices have major issues. Hopefully, things will get better soon. I’d be happy to return and ask for help if needed, but ultimately it’s up to each person to handle the situation.

I believe I resolved the issue. Those dips at 400mhz no longer occur for me, though I’m unsure which of my efforts succeeded—it’s really hard to describe. If anyone can obtain the original factory version (including bloatware), I’ll recreate it and share it because I can’t upload mine right now due to damage. The drivers are tricky to set up in the Windows clean ISO.

Just turning it on, but I suspect there might be another hardware issue. Before making any decisions, I’d like to verify this.
