Problem with new PC not starting Windows
I recently purchased a R10 Alienware and the graphics 2080S stopped working. I kept it running with a 980 until I decided to buy a new machine, which caused damage inside the case. I rebuilt most of it except for the x2 SSD, RAM, and Ryzen 7 3700x. When I first turned it on, the system displayed "NEW CPU installed. fTPM/PSP NV corrupted or fTPM/PSP NV structure." Pressing y or n didn’t fix it, just froze the computer. I reformatted the SSD and installed a fresh Windows 10 OS, which worked on another machine. Since then, the same error appeared again. I tried Y and it asked to reboot or select a boot device, but after restarting it showed the original error. I changed the motherboard and it ran faster, though it still wouldn’t boot into Windows. I’m unsure what’s causing the issue. Any advice would be appreciated?
You are setting up Windows on a different PC and then adding it?
I replaced the ryzen 7 and the b550 gaming x v2 board with a 1700 and other motherboard. I planned to return and install windows, but everything is now working. However, no issue was fixed from my side. I suspect one of the SSDs is corrupt and won't function in any computer I try.
