Update: The problem was due to a software issue. I reset the PC using Windows 11, version 23H2 (repair version). After installing it, I plugged in the headset and initially nothing happened, but after about two minutes it finally worked—yay!!!

I would be highly suspect that your headset is a counterfeit; a mismatch with the barcode is not a good sign (is the mismatch for a lesser model?). Now that it is working, how is it being identified by the Device Manager?
