Latest news, I've separated all connections except my C drive to prevent allocation problems, but it didn't work. Now Xbox Live Ultimate is available and PC Xbox Game Pass is a feature—updating is crucial. The PC Xbox Game Pass needs version 1903 to function. Blue screen error code: RLQS not less than or equal.

Windows update may not include version 1903 because your system has compatibility issues with newer releases. It's unlikely hardware is the problem; a software component might conflict with 1903. Regarding 1809, it wasn't available in previous updates, even though a transition from 1803 to 1903 should be smooth. I suggest starting with 1809 using the media creation utility provided below: Windows 10 media creation tool for 1809

I'll attempt that the next day after work and will update you on the outcome.

I'm only beginning to have some free time now to experiment. I plan to check out 1809, though I remember it wasn't available to me before and didn't work out well. I don't quite recall the details, but I think trying again might be the best idea. My next move is to grab a 2TB external drive at the next paycheck, transfer everything I need onto it, wipe it clean, and start over. It's been a while since a fresh install, considering how much I usually work on different projects (about 3 to 4 years ago or so). Honestly, it seems like the safest option right now.

I cleaned up the installation of Windows 1903 on a fresh hard drive and ran some tests with my older Windows setup. I removed several software packages one at a time until I identified the problem. Drivecrypt wasn’t the issue—it was the software interfering with the update process.
