Yeah, but i was desperate and lonely, but thanks for the replies . The CMOS reset idea really gave me hope. For now I do not know what to try, I wont have the 10400 with me for a week

I finally found the correct approach with the proper sequence. I had to reinitialize the CMOS using the two-pin reset shown in the guide you shared. The challenge was resetting the CMOS both before and after installing the 10th generation processor. I didn’t reset after the BIOS update, which was a mistake I hadn’t realized. Here’s what I did:
1. Switched the 11th Intel CPU to the 10th generation.
2. Reset CMOS using pin 3.
3. Updated the BIOS.
4. Reverted the CPU back to the 11th generation.
5. Reset CMOS again (even though I had updated before, it didn’t work).
6. The system started working.
