Problem! The MB DRAM is showing a yellow light.
Hi! Your setup seems to have some compatibility issues. The system isn’t recognizing the newer CPU properly, and there are no visual indicators after boot. It also doesn’t allow BIOS updates or flashing the BIOS without a screen. This could be due to outdated firmware, incorrect RAM type, or hardware mismatch. Check the motherboard manual for supported RAM specifications and ensure your BIOS is up to date.
Was das Speichermodul bei 2933MHz im 11. Generation-Prozessor getestet? Sollte der CMOS wieder gesetzt werden, funktioniert der 10400F nur bei 2666MHz auf dieser Platte.
Thank you for your quick response! MB has a two-pin CLRTC, and I completed the installation. It powered on and initially shut down briefly before restarting, but the yellow light remained on.
Confirm if you're attempting to start with the latest CPU model. What BIOS version is active right now? Have you refreshed the BIOS settings? Did you reset the CMOS according to the guidelines?
I was working on the 10th gen 10400f. I can't see the BIOS version because the display isn't working, or I don't know how to check without it. The original manufacturer's version is what it came with. I placed a screwdriver at that spot for 10 seconds. The CLRTC appears on the MB. Should I attempt the 11th version after resetting the CMOS?
The 'F' at the end of the CPU name means it lacks built-in graphics, so there is no visual display associated with it.
