I'm unsure how to convey this. Earlier checks suggested around 1.4 billion Windows users each month. A widespread audio problem would likely attract more attention.
It's plausible, considering my experience, that my hearing might not pick up what you're experiencing. But if it's as clear or important to others as it is for me, I'd expect a stronger reaction.

Pop-ups in games can appear in different forms.
From opening menus to using specific weapons. New releases this year don’t seem to have the problem.
Arc Raiders delivers perfect audio quality. It seems they’ve reduced the number of audio files over time, preventing sudden interruptions.
Terraria’s menu responds instantly.
BEAMNG Engines produce clear sounds.
Tarkov suppressed fire sounds are crisp.
I observed this issue started in January 2023. Before that, I experienced no problems for a decade. Now, many others report the same.

MSI hasn’t resolved the ALC4080 Codec problems. However, I’ve disabled it in BIOS and used two sound cards on my current PC. As mentioned, I’ve tested across various systems and codecs.
This has prevented me from streaming and playing games with my friends; the crackle is extremely bothersome. A customer reported the same problem with a Dell "all in one" model. Drivers from the manufacturer, Realtek, or Windows still caused the issue, no matter the power source, output device, or quality.
