Audio issues on every Windows 10/11 machine (I don’t know of a PC that’s free from it).
Unrepairable. PC Gaming is over, Microsoft has messed with it. Both Windows 10 and 11 affected.
Audio will pause and playback will start and stop unexpectedly. Certain sounds will pop up. Windows-related problems are likely, but all audio devices become unusable for specific programs.
Simple solutions exist.
See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqzGzwTY-6w
Pause and resume the video or slide the volume while playing (crackling sounds will occur).
This problem has left me unable to use my PC properly for two years. I purchased an Audigy FX V2 hoping it would resolve the issue, thinking the ALC4080 was the cause on the sixth motherboard I bought. However, it’s not the 4080—it’s disabled in the BIOS.
I’m listing everything I’ve attempted to solve this, along with my specifications. Microsoft has not offered a better solution than “reinstall your drivers or buy a new motherboard.” I’ve tried Infinite because I’m building PCs myself or using prebuilt DELL audio models. Every PC, whether built for a customer, for me, or elsewhere, is experiencing this problem at the end of playback. (Note: Latency reports are clear and suitable for real-time audio.)

You won't succeed in suing MS. Their attorneys are excellent. You'll only get compensation if it's more cost-effective to settle rather than pursue legal action.
At first, I didn't see any 'Static' and assumed it was a wiring problem (that's common). But then I realized it appears when I move the vol slider quickly, while it doesn't move smoothly at a slower pace.

Certainly, gradually it's not a big deal, just act quickly—you'll hear it even in a YouTube video. In games, it can lead to strong loud crackles during certain actions or scenery. It's just a joke. Three PCs have the same problem, with different drivers and sound cards. While I don't argue that someone somewhere has a miracle system free from this issue, it's currently 95% and not fixable. I really hope SteamOS supports Tarkov and other smaller games soon; I'm tired of Windows. Before 2023, I had little to complain about, now it's awful—nothing works. But it's not just for me; it affects my customers too. I plan to gather all this evidence and see if a no win no fee solicitor would consider taking it up. In three years, I've collected a lot.

The shared aspect in this situation is the identical residence or area, such as the same electrical setup.

Not across all of Europe. Problems in Norway and the UK, specifically in Lancashire and Yorkshire.

Not to add fuel to any fire, but are you suggesting this is a European issue?
That seems rather unlikely.

I didn't notice any crackling or popping sounds. At most, quickly adjusting the volume slider produced a louder wind noise. This was on an old Windows 11 Pro system with a basic stereo setup and a small subwoofer—nothing special. No audio issues at all.

How confident are you that all those installation problems came from legally obtained and licensed Windows versions? The same goes for the games mentioned. Are the operating system and any mods free from changes, registry alterations, or similar attempts to enhance performance?

I agree with the comments about lawsuits being unlikely to succeed. They probably wouldn’t last long and would be dismissed right away if any irregularities were found by a claimant.

Please note, this is just my perspective, not legal advice.

I haven't traveled to another continent to verify. And it's probably not a power problem at all.
I purchase my games, and I use keys or free install options for Windows, whether paid or not.
But what else can I do? You've seen the list.
A fresh new PC built or from Dell often has these problems.
There are thousands of people like us facing this issue.

Just for reference, I attempted to replicate your findings across five different Windows systems without any problems. As an experiment, I also tested it on a Linux system, and the results were consistent.
Your claim of thousands of others facing this problem compared to hundreds of millions or billions of Windows users seems quite rare.
Having worked with, built, repaired, or used numerous systems—across various continents—I haven’t encountered such an issue. The most similar case I came across was with an Android smartphone.
I’m sure you’re dealing with something unique, but your concerns might be tied to specific details on your end.
As discussed before, from your viewpoint and experience, what are the shared factors? Are there any common elements involved?

This has already been discussed before. Would you like the list again to review? Have you checked any of the links related to people experiencing the same problem? Please let me know what steps to take—I haven’t encountered a Windows machine that behaves this way, unless you have specific reasons. You might not be able to hear it as a human. That’s all I can say.
