Identifying the unresponsive app and its inactivity duration is necessary. Checking current processes is recommended; restarting may resolve the issue based on the reason. No other apps are running at the moment. Resource consumption appears normal.

The search tool isn't working, the system window doesn't respond, the settings panel remains closed, and there are no icons visible on the taskbar. When I attempt to open File Explorer, it fails. This issue has persisted since I powered on the machine.

Specs? Have you restarted the computer? Are you able to open Task Manager with Ctrl Shift Esc? If yes, a picture of that might help.

It seems Windows Explorer might be unresponsive immediately after startup. I've checked if a restart resolved the issue.

Yes, I can launch Task Manager as recommended. It will show us which applications are active and display our system resource consumption.

Interesting issue with the first image. A search revealed similar problems where explorer.exe becomes unresponsive for others too. Most solutions I found included restoring the system, running a repair, or scanning with antivirus software. I didn’t spend much time fixing it, so you might want to look into those steps yourself. Good luck!
